About us
Welcome to Diverse Expressions.
At Diverse Expressions, our primary to create greeting cards that celebrate inclusivity and rich diversity of people, with special focus on representing minority communities in Canada. Founded in 2023, the Headquarter is in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Our journey began with a heart felt desire to ensure that everyone can see themselves and their culture is celebrated on greeting cards for special occasions like the Eid and Diwali.
Our story
The inspiration of starting this business stemmed from personal experiences close to my heart.
When my dear friends were getting married, I struggled to find appropriate card that reflected
that special moment. This opened my eyes to a broader issue of lack of representation for
underrepresented groups in our society (for example, South-Asian weddings, same sex
marriages, cultural celebration). This realization started deep sense of compassion, motivating
me to establish diverse expression.
This journey is not only about filling a gap in the market, but also celebrating joy in our life. At
Diverse Expressions, we believe that individuals should have the opportunity to find culturally
appropriate greeting cards that authentically represent their identities and joy. We truly believe
that this effort will make a meaningful difference in celebrating personal joy and foster
inclusivity in Canadian society.
